Since the beginning of AeroGuest we've understood that automation done halfway isn't enough. If a product automates the easy part and skips what is technically difficult, nothing has been accomplished. Tasks has just moved to someone else, usually adding new and repetitive tasks to the front desk. This is often the case with solutions promising a perfect guest journey and a one-size-fits-all fix.
"To deliver true automation in hospitality, you need to understand the people using the product, both the guest on their own phone and the entire team at the hotel," says Morten Grønning, Chief Product Officer at AeroGuest. "And you need the capability and experience to take on the diverse and complex tech stack that hospitality runs on. Every hotel operates differently, and the code underneath has to hold up against all of it."
"That's where the difficult work sits and where we bring the most value for hotels and their guests. It's why we keep investing in development. With four new developers recently joining us to make sure the backbone of our product and services is the best it can be. AI is the next phase, and it's genuinely useful. What we build starts from the problems hotels already have rather than from the technology.", concludes Morten Grønning.
